Today's the day when every xangan makes a post pertaining to Christmas.
I will keep it short and simple, since I am only here to wish every one of you a Merry Christmas!!!
I won't ask if all of you got what you wanted because I have a feeling that the majority of us are past the age of "I hope I get that for Christmas...!"
I admit that I have a list of things I want, but they're not items that I expect to get for Christmas. They're simply items that I want to purchase or obtain in the long run.
I'm at the age where no one wants to buy me gifts anymore. Everyone seems to just want, want AND want from me, my mom and dad. The only person that actually gives me a lot on Christmas and regular days is my mom. As for my dad, he has been giving me less each passing year. The relationship with my dad has become distant to the point that he signed my Christmas card with his first name. This year was the first year he has done that. I don't know if he was trying to be Americanized, acting decades younger than his chronological age or if he just wanted to cut familial ties with me. (FYI: It's safe to say that my dad never wanted me as his child, since I was born female AND was born when he wasn't as financially stable. If you didn't already know, caring for a baby requires a lot of money.)
I've always been disappointed with my dad. He is the reason why I stay away from guys of my own race. Perhaps, I'm being slightly biased but I don't want to take any chances. I also don't like the fact that I'll always have more to lose than the guy, regardless of his ethnic background. Even a one second hug can cause your reputation.
I hate being watched like a celebrity. And since I hate it, I do my best to stay away from males. It's gotten to the point where people who aren't close to me think that I'm a lesbian. (FYI: I am straight and far from being a lesbian.) Funny how people always find the most random of things to gossip about me when they barely even know me. I would beat Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston to the front page if I were a celebrity.
